Opening
The
meeting opened at 7:00pm.
Announcements – Mr. Rose
Mr. Rose
welcomed parents and introduced Mr. Drew Ware.
Spring Festival
Vicki
mentioned that we still need donations for the cake
walk. We also need more volunteers to offer forty
minutes to man games. Parents were asked to contact
Laura Lavan or Vicki Nizen.
Welcoming Committee
A
Welcoming Committee will be formed to act as
informational support for new Vance parents. Anyone
interested in joining this committee is asked to contact
Vicki.
Teachers Appreciation
Teachers
Appreciation week is coming up. Students will be asked
to bring in various gifts each day of the week. More
information will be sent home with students soon. An
appreciation luncheon will be held as well.
2007-2008 PTA Executive
Committee Elections
There
remains to be two VP positions still open. Interested
parents are asked to contact Vicki. A vote was held for
the following parties to take next year’s PTA positions.
The majority approved the list; a motion was granted and
seconded.

Mudcats
- Our last
Family Night for the 2006/2007 school year will be at
the Mudcats stadium in Zebulon on June 7th,
which is the last day of school. Tickets will be $5.00
per person.
